Volunteer

Volunteers play a vital role in Hope Center's ministry to young people.
Here's how you can volunteer this year!

ADULT COUNSELORS (age 18 and up, and two years older than the oldest campers being supervised) are essential for making a safe and enjoyable week at camp for all age groups. Counselors stay in cabins with the campers and provide supervision throughout the day.

JUNIOR COUNSELORS (age 16 and two years older than the oldest campers being supervised) can help at PrePrimary, Primary, Middler, Swim, Fishing and Musical Theater Camps. Junior Counselors stay in cabins with campers and assist Counselors  and program staff throughout the day. What a great way to spend more time at camp and enjoy sharing the camp experience with young campers.

NURSES AND EMTs: Camp is always looking for individuals to serve as health care providers during each week of summer camp. You must hold a current certification but you need not be certified in New Jersey. Private air-conditioned quarters with bathroom and shower facilities are provided. The Nurse is present for all program events to oversee safety for all participants, and is available for first aid and to dispense medication for all campers and staff.  Meals, prayer and pool time are part of the package! Please share your skills with our campers and staff by contacting the Hope Office directly. 908-459-4435

HOW DO I SIGN UP? You can volunteer for the week you are interested in by contacting the Weekly Dean (Leader) directly to offer your services. OR contact the Hope Center office to volunteer.
