Hope Conference and Renewal Center (Camp Hope) is the year-round camp, conference and retreat center of the Eastern District of the Moravian Church. Hope Center is situated on a hillside overlooking Little Silver Lake, with 125 acres of forests, wetlands, fields and lawns. Located at its current site in Hope, NJ since 1946, the Center is approximately 90 minutes from New York City and 45 minutes from Pennsylvania's Lehigh Valley. Exit 12 0f Route 80 provides convenient access to the facility. Accommodations include new and rustic cabins, which are heated for year-round use. Meals are served in the Dining Hall or kitchen in the Upper Lodge. The covered pavilion seats 200. Recreation facilities include a sand volleyball court, canoeing, boating, swimming, basketball and hiking trails. Several Pocono ski resorts and New Jersey State Parks are within 20 minutes of Hope. Group retreats can be arranged during the week or weekends from mid-August to mid-June. The Center accommodates 72 people in the winter months and 150 in the warm seasons. Meeting rooms are available. |
